Make vocabulary review a real treat this October with Halloween Bingo for Adult ESL. Your adult ESL students will be actively listening, making connections, and laughing together as they play. This resource gives you everything you need to bring seasonal energy into your classroom while keeping the focus on real vocabulary growth.

A Grown-Up Take on Halloween Bingo

This isn’t the kind of bingo game that comes with cartoon pumpkins or goofy ghosts. The cards are illustrated with mostly dark images that sets just the right tone for adults and older teens. It’s festive and fun without feeling childish. This seasonal activity feels right at home in an adult ESL classroom.

WHAT'S INSIDE:

• ✅ 40 bingo cards per set, plenty for large classes or multiple rounds where superstitious students think they've got an unlucky card and need to switch
• ✅ Calling cards with the word itself for straightforward play, a matching image to make checking a bingo win easy even for a last-minute sub, and a riddle-style clue for extra challenge and critical thinking.
• ✅ Both color and black-and-white versions, so you can decide whether to print eye-catching colorful cards or get around no-color-ink mandates by using black only.
• ✅ Built-in word banks on each card that you can keep for support or trim away when students are ready for more of a challenge

The images are a mix of human-created and AI-generated. The goal is always to provide useful, clear visuals that support your students.

Beyond Bingo

This Halloween bingo game is part of a complete Halloween vocabulary line for adult ESL. The presentation introduces the vocabulary with images and practice, the cards introduce and review, the worksheets reinforce comprehension, and the I Have Who Has games extend practice in another interactive format. Each one stands alone, but together they make for a classroom Halloween that’s fun.

Bring some spooky energy into your classroom this October. Your students will be dying to shout BINGO!
